Pilates is a practice designed to improve posture and reduce your risk of injury by focusing on whole-body strength, improving muscle tone and increasing joint mobility. Pilates is a low impact exercise and is particularly effective for those with lower back or shoulder pain. It is suitable for all ages and abilities.
Pilates is suitable for post-natal women who have had their 6 -10 week check with the doctor and have been cleared for exercise.
Pilates sessions are delivered individually beginning with an initial consultation, fitness assessment and postural assessment. Each session is personalised to your requirements and we progress at your pace. If you have a back, shoulder or other injury or illness, you should check with your doctor that pilates is a suitable exercise programme.
